PTA (Parent Teacher Assocation)

Mrs Jewitt held our very first Parent Teacher Association (PTA) Annual General Meeting on 24th March and formally appointed the following parents into the Committee Officer roles:

• Chair - Sarah Horseman
• Vice-Chair and Communications Officer - Shanaj Salahuddin
• Secretary - Kerry- Anne Bowyer
• Treasurer – Kristine Shrubb

With the help of a very quickly-growing team of PTA members, we have already started planning our first fundraising event! We will be holding a bake sale on Tuesday 29th March from 3:30-4:30pm in the main playground. 

It would be great if you could help us by very kindly contributing any cakes (homemade or shop bought, but no nuts please) on the morning of Tuesday 29th March. Some members of the PTA will be collecting the cakes on the gates in the morning ready to be sold in the afternoon. Please do come along with some cash, enjoy your yummy treats and help us raise funds to buy a sports net for our children’s main playground!

All parents and carers at the school automatically become a member of the PTA when you join the school. If you’d like to find out more about the PTA, or would like to get more actively involved in fun events, please email pta@stmwschool.org.uk.
