World Book Day 2023!

Our World Book Day Celebration will be on Friday 3rd March! The children are invited to dress up as a favourite story character and parents and carers are warmly invited to the parades.

The Early Years and Key Stage 1 parade will start at 9.15am in the school hall. This will include Book of Praise awards and birthday celebrations.
The Key Stage Two parade will start at 2.45pm in the school hall and will also include Book of Praise awards and birthday celebrations. The gate will open at 2.40pm.

The teachers will be Reading Around the World! Each teacher will read a story - all stories will be from different countries - to every class in the school. They only have five minutes in each class so when the whistle is blown it’s off to the next class. The children love this annual event!

We will also be running a Book Week Book Swap! So please see if there’s a book at home that you no longer need and your child can bring it in for a swap. This will run until Friday 10th March.

Scholastic Book Fair will open on Thursday March 16th at 3.30pm in the school lobby. It will run until Wednesday 22nd March so please come along and have a browse.
