Easter Garden at Westminster Abbey

This year, St Matthew’s School had the privilege of creating the Easter Garden for Westminster Abbey. With the help of artist, Chris Minchin, the children created a beautiful backdrop made up of every child’s hand, origami birds containing prayers and a large sunburst. The garden in front is bordered by stones on which the children wrote ‘He is not here, He has risen’. The garden will be in the Abbey for the next few weeks, so do go and visit!

ICT Club articles 2.2.12

In Year 5 our topic is London, and we were talking about post codes and churches in London. We are also talking about the West End. The West End’s post codes are W1, WC1 and WC2.

By Italia

The West End has lots of shops and theatres and it is also where I did a show at the Palladium near London Bridge. The West End is the most expensive place in the world to rent an office. I’ve been there twice to see Billy Elliot.

In my class I am learning about North London. Seven Sisters is an area of North London.
